Jordan R. Smith

Jordan is a Registered Provisional Psychologist and certified member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). Jordan has completed multiple degrees, including a Bachelor of Psychological Science and a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) at the Australian College of Applied Psychology. To further supplement his understanding of human cognition and behaviour, Jordan also completed studies on the Philosophy of Consciousness at the University of Newcastle. As a result, Jordan is proficiently skilled in providing psychological assessment and intervention to individuals across the lifespan (i.e., children, adolescents, teenagers, adults and older adults). Drawing from a host of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy (ST) and Mindfulness, Jordan is highly trained in treating depression, anxiety, stress, mood disorders and identity-related issues. Additionally, Jordan is passionate about mindfulness and has conducted Randomised Controlled Trial (RCT) research on mindfulness-based interventions and their associated impacts on psychological health and well-being.
