
Emily Azzopardi
Emily is an independent Registered Psychologist practicing in Orange. She completed her graduate and postgraduate studies in Psychology through Charles Sturt University and the University of Wollongong, and has a background in mainstream and inclusive education.
Emily takes an adaptable approach to her clinical practice, utilising evidence-based interventions including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). She supports clients experiencing symptoms relating to trauma, anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, grief and loss, executive dysfunction, and interpersonal/ relationship difficulties. Emily has experience in the administration and reporting of psychology assessments related to intellectual disabilities, specific learning disorders, Autism, ADHD, and anxiety and mood disorders.
Emily works with children, adolescents, and adults, employing a holistic, strengths-based approach. She has a warm and engaging demeanour; prioritising safety and care within the therapeutic relationship. Hailing from Sydney, Emily has lived and worked across remote, rural, and regional areas for the past 10 years, and is passionate about supporting these communities.
