Dr Lim is a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with extensive experience within the public health system, having worked across CAMHS services in many areas of the Central West of NSW.

Dr Lim has experience assessing and treating a broad range of mental health presentations in children and adolescents, including mood and anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders including ADHD and ASD, as well as presentations involving co-occurring neurodevelopmental and mental health conditions. She has particular experience in supporting young people who have experienced trauma and its impact on their emotional wellbeing and development.

She takes a trauma-informed, developmentally appropriate and culturally sensitive approach, recognising the importance of understanding each young person within the context of their family, culture, relationships and broader environment.

Dr Lim works collaboratively with young people, their families and other health professionals to develop individualised treatment plans, with a focus on supporting young people to achieve improved emotional wellbeing and functioning.
