Dr Jarret Johnston

Dr Jarret Johnston has been a Psychiatrist since 2004, initially working with adults and in Telehealth, and working with children, adolescents, and families since 2014. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists and holds a Certificate of Advanced Training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

He is particularly interested in mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and neurodevelopmental issues such as ADHD, Tourette’s Disorder, and Autism.
He consults Mondays and Thursdays in the Orange office and Wednesdays in the Bathurst office.

As a rule he takes referrals for children and adolescents only, as there are more alternatives for adults. Owing to demand, and the constraints of the private practice environment, referrals will be triaged according to capacity, urgency, and suitability and where possible feedback given to the referrer or family about expected waiting times. Dr Johnston is an independent Psychiatrist.
