
Rebecca Lawrance
Rebecca is a registered Psychologist who works in Orange. Rebecca gained her Bachelor with Honours in Psychology and Masters in Forensic Psychology in the UK before emigrating to Australia. She began her career in Occupational Rehab and EAP counselling before moving on to work with Corrective Services NSW, specialising in working with perpetrators of sexual offences, both in rehabilitation and mental health management. Through these roles, Rebecca gained experience in assessment and effective intervention with clients from diverse backgrounds, working with issues such as depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, anger management, grief and loss, identity-related issues, self-esteem, trauma, substance-use, interpersonal problems, and workplace difficulties. Drawing on evidence-based interventions, including EMDR, Schema Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Narrative Therapy, Rebecca provides a non-judgemental, client-centred, holistic approach in her work with clients.
Rebecca enjoys working with both individuals and groups and is passionate about supporting clients across the lifespan, with a variety of presenting problems, to achieve their goals.
