Jemma Hordynsky

Jemma is an independent Registered Psychologist who joined our Orange practice in 2015 having completed her Bachelor of Psychology at C.S.U. Bathurst. She has practiced both locally and in several regional centres – finding great professional and personal satisfaction working in a broad, rural setting and with the people who call country NSW home in all its social and cultural diversity.

Jemma utilises a multi-faceted approach to therapy, and has worked with clients presenting with a range of issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, anger management, behaviour management, risk management, stress and interpersonal difficulties.

Jemma is clinically trained in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Bowen Family Therapy and utilises a range of evidence-based treatments with her clients.  She is also experienced in administering a broad range of psychometric tests including behaviour, personality, educational, cognitive and diagnostic assessments.

Well recognised is Jemma’s natural rapport and warmth with clients and she is currently working with clients across the breadth of lifespan. She is particularly passionate about providing care for adolescents and adults of all generations as part of her clear vision to help them create and meet goals, and to move into the future with improved wellbeing and happiness
